The Cauchari Olaroz Salt Lake project is located in the northwestern province of Jujuy, Argentina, with clean solar energy as the main source of lithium extraction. In June 2023, the project was completed and put into operation. At present, the project plans to produce 40000 tons of LCE annually in the first phase and no less than 20000 tons of LCE in the second phase. The project will gradually optimize the production line and steadily release production capacity in 2023.

The project was put into operation in February 2017, and the production capacity of spodumene concentrate is expanding from 450000 to 480000 tons per year to 900000 tons per year.Ganfeng holds 50% equity of the parent company RIM of MONT MARION
